O cemiterio estaba precioso onte. Penso ademáis que foi a primeira vez que o vin case baleiro na noite de defuntos. Claro que era moi tarde, máis do que adoito ir. Luces, beleza, calma, só unha persoa, que falaba de dor honesta e morriña verdadeira. Máis que os mortos mortos, preocúpanme os que están por vir. Pero é perde-lo tempo, non si? O que seña, será, e xa haberá tempo de se preocupar, non ten senso empezar a laiarse con antelación. Isto soa tan lúgubre, e en realidade non me sinto así, non creo. Datas raras.

Apple pie!

Mix 6 eggs, 3 natural yoghourts (not flavoured), 3 yoghourt cups of sugar, 3 yoghourt cups of flour, a package of baking powder (16 g) and 200 cc of liquid whipped cream in a bowl. Pour it on an oven platter and cover it with apple slices.

Preheat the oven and then put it in, 30 min., 180ºC.
Meanwhile, mix some peach or pineapple syrup (I used one glass and a half of it) with marmalade of any flavour (four spoonfuls of apple marmalade in this case) and a bit of Oporto sweet wine. Put this mix on the stove until it boils and then let it cool down.
Once it´s cooled, and the cake is ready (I confirm this by sticking a knitting needle in it, which should then come out clean, the dough not sticking to it), take the cake out of the oven and pour the boiled mix all over it. Let it sit for some hours.
I´ll tell you tomorrow how it resulted, but it smells delicious already! ^_^

Today was my first visit to the beach in quite some time. I brought home these little guys:

It had been maybe two years or more since the last time. I had forgotten a lot about it: the smell of the sea, the feel of the sand on my feet, the wind on my belly (so vulnerable! lol), the smell, the seagulls and the smell. Such a memory trap, right back to childhood. Heh, good times. And yet, it´s left me moody for the rest of the day. Maybe, as the song says, to the place where you´ve been happy, you shouldn´t try to go back.
